GO!Bus - ADA Paratransit Services is a transportation program designed to provide accessible and convenient travel options for individuals with disabilities. Riders who are ADA-eligible can enjoy the benefit of a flat fee of $3.50 per ride. Companions traveling with the eligible individual are also charged the same rate of $3.50. Older adults over the age of 65, who are not disabled, can utilize this service for a slightly higher fee of $8.00 per ride.
One of the key features of this program is its paratransit service, which offers door-to-door transportation for riders, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey. To use this service, riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, typically a few days beforehand, to secure their spot. Payment for rides can be made by check or in cash, and pre-payment options are available for added convenience.
Additionally, riders with service animals are welcomed on board, and personal care attendants can accompany ADA-eligible riders at no extra charge. GO!Bus - ADA Paratransit Services also provides shared rides, allowing multiple passengers to travel together and share the cost of transportation. Overall, this program aims to enhance the mobility and independence of individuals with disabilities and older adults, making it easier for them to access essential services and maintain their active lifestyles.
