Please make sure to contact Cumberland County : Community Transportation Program (CTP) to confirm details of their transportation services.
Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, or medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Community Transportation Program (CTP) is a donation-based service that offers free shared van rides for older adults. To use this program, riders must schedule their transportation a few days in advance by contacting the program before noon on the business day before their appointment. It's important to note that same-day rides cannot be accommodated through this service.
CTP provides curb-to-curb transportation, meaning that riders will be picked up and dropped off at locations convenient for them. This program aims to support older adults in accessing transportation to essential appointments and activities. By offering shared rides, CTP also promotes a sense of community and connectivity among its riders.
