Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability.
The Transportation Benefit Program provides convenient and affordable transportation services for older adults living in the Fairborn Senior Center and surrounding areas. With pricing ranging from $1 to $6 each way, individuals can easily access destinations within Fairborn, Enon, Beavercreek, Xenia, Huber Heights, Dayton, Springfield, and Kettering.
Participants in this program have the option to use paratransit services, which offer accessible transportation for those with mobility limitations. By scheduling rides in advance, usually a few days beforehand, older adults can plan their trips with ease. Rides are shared, allowing for a social and cost-effective way to travel to various locations. Payment for the program can be made conveniently by cash or check.
Transportation is provided using vans equipped for comfortable curb-to-curb service, ensuring a safe and reliable journey for older adults in the area.
