The pricing structure of Flex includes a flat fee, with a slight increase of $1.25 for deviations from the regular bus route. This program allows for payment through insurance, credit card, or cash, offering ease and flexibility for older adults.
To use Flex, riders are required to schedule their transportation in advance, typically a few days beforehand, ensuring that they can plan their trips accordingly. The program offers shared rides, following fixed routes, and providing curb-to-curb transportation service for the convenience and comfort of its passengers. Additionally, Flex welcomes riders to bring their service animals on board, prioritizing inclusivity and accessibility for older adults utilizing the program.
