Please make sure to contact St George Senior Citizens Center: Dial-a-Ride to confirm details of their transportation services.
Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old.
Dial-a-Ride is a fantastic transportation program available to older adults in the community. This program offers convenient and affordable transportation services via bus or train. Riders are encouraged to donate $3.00 for a one-way trip or $5.00 for a round trip, however, these donations are voluntary. One of the great features of this program is that it provides shared rides, making it a more sustainable and social option for getting around town.
To use the Dial-a-Ride program, older adults simply need to schedule their rides a few days in advance. This ensures a smooth and reliable transportation experience. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, allowing riders to be picked up and dropped off directly at their desired locations. Overall, Dial-a-Ride is a wonderful resource for older adults looking for an affordable and convenient way to travel within their community.
