The Deviated Fixed-Route program is a convenient public transit service designed to cater to the transportation needs of older adults in the community. To utilize this program, individuals are required to schedule their rides at least one day in advance, allowing for efficient trip planning and scheduling. Riders can benefit from affordable flat-rate fees, with peak times costing $2 and non-peak times costing $1, ensuring cost-effective transportation options for older adults.
Upon pre-payment, older adults can enjoy transportation services via bus or train, with the added convenience of shared rides, fostering a sense of community and social connectivity. Accepted payments in cash further streamline the process, making it accessible to all participants. The program operates on a fixed schedule basis, offering curb-to-curb transportation services, guaranteeing a reliable and punctual mode of transport for older adults to reach their desired destinations.
